Chef Aurélien Dufour was born amidst the rich food and wine culture of Bordeaux, and spent his childhood in Germany. He started to study the culinary arts in France where he worked as a kitchen commis and did events for a famous caterer in Bordeaux.

He then moved near Paris to learn from the talented Chef Gérard Berranger, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (the highest and most prestigious award in France in the food industry) where he learned the technique and tradition of French charcuterie-caterer, steeped in history, with recipes passed down over generations.

Aurélien Dufour has worked in the food industry for 20 years, including 6 years in NYC for the prestigious Chef Daniel Boulud, and also as a consultant Chef for high-end catering companies which took him to California, Texas, Arizona and Florida to collaborate on exclusive and luxurious events.
